Rally Health Profile - Background

Rally’s health profile feature provides feedback on how a member is doing across several health factors, such as exercise, nutrition, sleep, and biometric factors. The experience and content on the profile have not been upgraded in years, leading to stale content and health metrics that don’t respond to a user's activity on the platform.

Challenges

Due to its outdated UI, the health profile experience was identified as a feature tagged for a UI overhaul to match the new design system. And we had a relatively short window to do so.
The current UI layout structure needed to scale more effectively to accommodate new content.
Rally uses a third-party vendor algorithm to power the Rally Age. However, the contract was going to expire, and Rally wanted to develop the algorithm in-house and improve upon it.

Project objectives

Replace the current Rally age with a new Rally health score and health profile experience that better reflects a member’s health status and offers feedback that reflects their engagement on the Rally platform.
